The Journey
The Story
"Before there was a voice, there was just a guitar and an empty room. Everything else was built one stage, one city, one audience at a time."
Just a Guitar
Tito's career didn't begin with a microphone — it began with a classical guitar and years of quiet, self-taught practice in Casablanca. No conservatory, no formal music school: everything was learned by ear, by watching, and by repetition, note by note, with no stage bigger than a local café.
The instrumental foundation built in these years — the right-hand technique, the rhythm, the feel for flamenco and Andalusian phrasing — is entirely self-made, and it's still the backbone of every performance today.
Finding His Voice
The move to Agadir marked a turning point: Tito began singing as well as playing, layering vocals over guitar for the first time. What followed was over a decade of touring — Spain, Marrakech, Tunisia, France — chasing stages, learning languages on the road, and absorbing every musical tradition he crossed paths with.
This is where the fusion sound was really forged: Spanish flamenco meeting Arabic melody, Gipsy rumba meeting French chanson. Festival stages at Mawazine (Morocco) and Carthage (Tunisia) gave the sound its first real audiences.
Starting Over, Again
Moving to Dubai in 2016 meant starting from zero in one of the most competitive live-entertainment markets in the world — no existing network, no name recognition, and a genre most venues had never booked before. It took relentless outreach, venue by venue, to prove that Spanish flamenco had a place on Dubai's luxury stages.
Piece by piece, that changed: Burj Al Arab, Four Seasons, Waldorf Astoria, Dubai Opera. Membership in the UAE Musicians Syndicate followed, formalizing a decade of groundwork.
"When I walk on stage, it doesn't matter who played before me or who's coming after — that moment belongs to me. My presence pulls the room in. I bring people to their feet, into the dance, into real interaction — a full connection with everyone in the room."
— Tito Gipsy
Alma de Fuego
Three consecutive years at Formula 1 Abu Dhabi. The Dubai Racing Carnival. IFZA Gold Cup. The NAMM Show in the United States. A 76K+ audience built organically, one performance clip at a time. Twenty years after that first guitar in Casablanca, "Alma de Fuego by Tito" is a full luxury live-music brand — solo, duo, trio or full band, in five languages, for any room that calls for it.
The next chapter — bigger stages, new markets across the Gulf — is being written now.
